Upcoming Events
What to Expect
Joining a new group can feel a little uncertain, especially in a new country. We want Crossing to be a place where you can relax, make friends, and be yourself.
A Warm Welcome
Whether you come by yourself or with friends, you'll be welcomed into a friendly and caring community.
Genuine Friendship
We value people, not numbers. We hope to build friendships based on kindness, respect, and shared experiences rather than expectations.
Freedom to Explore
Some events are simply social. Others include discussions about life, purpose, or the Christian faith. You're always free to participate at your own pace. Questions are welcome, and there's never any pressure to agree with our beliefs.
An International Community
Meet students and volunteers from Japan and around the world. Learn about different cultures, practise languages, celebrate traditions, and create friendships that often continue long after graduation.
Why We Do It
Crossing is inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
We believe God loves people from every nation and culture, and that every person deserves to be welcomed with kindness, respect, and genuine friendship.
Because of this, we create opportunities for students to build community, care for one another, and explore life's biggest questions together.
People of every faith and background are welcome. Some come simply for friendship and cultural exchange. Others are interested in learning more about Christianity. Whatever brings you here, we're glad you've come.
Bible Studies
Explore the Bible. Ask Anything.
The Bible has shaped history, cultures, and countless lives around the world. Whether you've never opened a Bible before or have been reading it for years, you're welcome to join us.
Our Bible studies are relaxed, interactive discussions where everyone is encouraged to ask honest questions and explore the teachings of Jesus together.
You don't need any previous knowledge, and no question is off limits.
Some participants are simply curious about Christianity.
Others are exploring faith for the first time.
Some are already Christians looking to grow deeper in their relationship with God.
Everyone is welcome.
